The Century 21 office sign between Gainesville and Warrenton is amusing -- this week it says "Sales are up -- giddy up!" (A horse theme, I guess).
Which is true for September, but of course for the last two years it's had various "buy now" themes, like "the market's fine, jump in" . . .
"Tom and Cindy" at the Long and Fosters near me are running a deal where they move you locally from one house to another for free with their own moving service. Talk about catering to the move-up market. (though presumably you don't have to own the first home).
